Cash App Now Lets You Send Bitcoin for Free, Plus $10 Bonus for a Tweet
Cash App is a mobile payment service developed by Square, Inc. that allows users to easily send and receive money using a mobile phone app. The service is available in the US and the UK and counts over 7 million active users. Six years after launching the Cash App, Square recently launched Cash App Invest.
This week, Cash App said that users can now instantly send bitcoin for free on their app, just like they do with cash. However, there are some fees to watch out for with the app, such as a 3% fee when sending money via a credit card linked to the Cash App account.
