Cardless Doubles Rewards Value
Update: A data point on reddit shows that you can actually get a value of 1 cent per point even if you already redeemed your points before this change was made on Ju.16, 2021. Call in and ask to get matched to the new redemption rate. I’m not sure if this is something that is still being offered, but it worth a try if you got that big 100K points bonus. Cardless issues two unique credit cards that I have mentioned here on the site in past. They have the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Manchester United credit cards which are great for fans of those teams, but also had some big bonuses recently. We have seen bonuses as high as 100,000 points which was worth $500 when redeemed for statement credit. Points were originally worth 0.5 cents each when redeemed for statement credit (1 cent for Cavs or Man United gift cards).
But now it looks like Cardless has changed the redemption rates, and if you got these card and still have points to redeem, you can get double the value. Here are the redemption possibilities for each card:

- Cavs Gift Cards – 1 point is 1.25 cents
- Donate to the Cavaliers Community Foundation – 1 point is 1 cent

Now that the redemption rate has been doubled, you can actually get $1,000 in value from those 100,000 points bonuses we saw last month. That’s if you are quick enough to apply when the offers were available, and if you still have the points in your accounts. It also means that the cards now earn 3% cash back on dining, delivery, and groceries.
