Capital One Venture 60K bonus

Capital One Venture Card, 60K Welcome Bonus After 3K Spend in 3 Months

New Capital One Venture card customers can earn 60,000 bonus miles, which can be redeemed for any travel purchase, such as vacation rentals, flights, car rentals and more. This is a product for both travel and everyday life, and rewards customers for everyday spending not just on their travel purchases. That offer was at 100K just a day ago, but this new bonus can be easier to achieve since it requires only $3K spending instead of $20K.

Venture cardholders earn unlimited 2X miles per dollar spent, so that they are earning valuable rewards on every single purchase that they make. Miles can then be redeemed for any recent travel purchase, making Venture one of the most flexible travel cards on the market. Let’s see the details of this new Capital One Venture Card 60K bonus.

Capital One Venture Card

In today’s travel environment, Venture offers unique value and unparalleled flexibility. Unlike many airline or hotel travel cards, the Capital One Venture Card earns unlimited double miles on every purchase, everyday, which can then be redeemed for all types of travel, including the kind of travel that people are taking right now. This is different from many airline or hotel cards, which typically only offer elevated earn in select travel categories.

Venture cardholders can use their miles in a way that best suits their lifestyle and needs. Unlike many leading airline or hotel cards, Venture customers can redeem their miles for any recent, travel-related purchase (such as vacation rentals, flights with any airline, hotels, rental cars, cruises, etc.). Plus, Venture is one of the only travel cards where you can use your miles to redeem for vacation rentals (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.)

In addition, Venture cardholders can transfer their miles to 19 different travel loyalty programs, including 16 airlines and three hotel loyalty programs. There’s also a Capital One Lounge network that is launching soon, with access for cardholders, although we need more details on that part with pricing.

One downside to Capital One cards in general, is that the issuer will normally pull all three credit bureaus when you apply. You should be able to limit this to just two pulls if you freeze Experian or Transunion.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This Capital One Venture Card 60K bonus is not the best that we have seen. As I mentioned above, just recently you could earn 100K miles with $20K spend. That bonus also gave you the chance to earn 50K miles with $3K spend. So this new 60K offer is superior to the latter. However, if spending is not an issue for you, then a 100K offer should be a better option, and it should come back again.
