Capital One Spring Program, 50% Off Hotel Stays Booked Through Priceline

Capital One Spring is a program that offers savings for business at several partners. There are discounts for gas at Shell and Pilot, up to 15% off car rentals at National, 12% off at Dell and 50% off at Priceline. Yes, you read that right. You can get half off when you book hotels through Priceline. The program is free to join this program. You don’t necessarily need to be a Capital One cardholder. You can sign up here, or log in with your Capital One account if you have one.

But now lets get back to what is probably the best offer at Capital One Spring. The offer states that you get up to 50% off hotel rates booked through Priceline. And surprisingly, it delivers. Frequent Miler first reported this, showing several examples that the discount is in fact around, or in some cases even higher than, 50 percent off. I tried a few NYC hotels as well, and saw savings of about 45%. The discount doesn’t seem to apply to all hotel chains, but you should get plenty of options to choose from (such as Hilton and IHG) at most major cities.

There are some downsides that come with booking through online travel agencies such as Priceline. You will not get any elite status benefits or earn points and night credits. In this case you also need to go through Capital One Spring every time in order to access these discounted hotel prices.
