- Bonus Points can be purchased in increments of 1,000, up to 55,000 points per calendar year.

Purchasing Hyatt points at 1.68 cents each could be useful but it is not a great deal in my opinion. I would suggest looking at the personal and business Hyatt credit cards first, or transferring points from Chase Ultimate Rewards. If you do plan to buy Hyatt points with this promotion, try going through a portal as well to earn some cashback. The points are sold through Points.com, so they do not count as travel. Use a card such as Blue Business Plus Credit Card from American Express that will get you 2X Membership Rewards points, or any other 2% credit card.
