Bilt Rent Day – April 1, 2023

Bilt Rewards has recently improved its Rent Day offerings with 100% transfer bonuses and free status. That’s in addition to the usual double points on all purchases, free points for doing a quiz, and more.

But this upcoming Rent Day, which is the 1st of every month, Bilt has partnered with World of Hyatt. All Bilt Members can get free World of Hyatt status for 90 days, with the chance to extend it or upgrade it until February 28, 2025.

And best of all, you don’t even need to have a credit card to earn the status. Just by joining the Bilt Rewards program, which is free for everyone, you’re able to take advantage of this offer. You don’t have to wait until April 1st either. The offer is live now.

World of Hyatt Elite Status for Bilt Members

Starting Tuesday, March 28 through April 1, Bilt members can register to automatically enroll in Explorist status for 90 days, with the opportunity to keep their Explorist status or unlock Globalist status through February 2025 when completing qualifying nights.

Here’s how it works:

• Join Bilt Rewards for free (if you don’t have an account)
• Join the World of Hyatt loyalty program here if you don’t have an account already
• Link your Bilt Rewards and World of Hyatt accounts in the Bilt app under the “Travel” tab
• Between March 28 and April 1, choose “Unlock World of Hyatt Elite Status” on the Rent Day tab in the Bilt app
• Receive confirmation by April 17 of your World of Hyatt Explorist status and enjoy exclusive benefits for 90 days through July 16
• Complete 10 qualifying nights between April 17 and July 16 to keep Explorist status through February 2025, or complete 20 qualifying nights to earn Globalist status through February 2025

All Hyatt members are eligible for the offer, even if you already have Hyatt status. This is probably the easiest way out there to earn Hyatt elite status.

Hyatt Status Benefits

With Hyatt Explorist elite status you get space-available room upgrades at check-in (excluding suites and those with club access), a 20% bonus on all points earned, a dedicated check-in area and 2pm late checkout. 

During the 90-day promotional period, you must complete 10 qualifying nights to keep Explorist status through February 2025. Or even better, complete 20 qualifying nights to earn Globalist for almost two years. Qualifying nights include paid and award nights for stays between April 17 and July 16. That means that the checkout date must fall in the promotional period. 

Globalist is the top Hyatt tier and gets you room upgrades upon check-in (including suites and those with club access), 30% bonus on all points earned, 4pm late checkout, club lounge access, and free parking. Being able to earn this elite status with just 20 nights is a big deal as you normally need 60 nights at Hyatt properties in a calendar year. But obviously you have a shorter window to get it done.

It’s worth noting that earning World of Hyatt Globalist through this promotion will not get you Milestone Rewards or My Hyatt Concierge. You will still need to hit the required number of stays for those benefits.

Double Points for One Day

As always, members with the Bilt Mastercard will earn accelerated points across all non-rent spend, including:

• DINING: 6x points (regularly 3x points)
• TRAVEL: 4x points (regularly 2x points)
• ALL OTHER SPEND excluding rent: 2x points (regularly 1x points)

Cardholders will receive double earnings, up to 10,000 bonus points, from 12:01am ET on April 1 through 11:59pm PT on April 1st. Cardholders will continue to earn 1x points on their rent payments when paying with the Bilt Mastercard. Don’t forget that you need to use your card 5 times each statement period to earn points.

Points Quest Quiz, Up to 350 Free Points

Log in the Bilt Rewards app on April 1st to play Bilt’s ‘Point Quest’ trivia, with Bilt Points up for grabs!  Answer 5 questions, and instantly win 50 points for each correct answer. Those who answer 5/5 correctly can access an 6th bonus question for an extra 100 Bilt Points.

Rent Day Challenge: Win a Month of Rent

This month’s Rent Day Challenge has some extra prizes. Bilt is sweetening the deal with even more giveaways. SoulCycle BOGO

Rent Day Rides are back again on April 1st at 57 SoulCycle locations around the country. Members can book a class and receive a complimentary bike for a friend. Members can reserve the special-themed class via Soul-Cycle.com, through the SoulCycle app or directly through the Bilt Rewards app.

This month there’s also something extra for those who participate. One lucky rider and their guest attending a Rent Day Ride will both get a month of rent paid by Bilt.

Hyatt Elite Status is clearly the highlight of this Bilt Rent Day. You can get free Explorist status for 90 days, and you have the option to extend it or upgrade to Globalist until February 2025. Hyatt status is quite valuable so this is a great opportunity to earn it without needing a credit card. All you need is to have a free Bilt Rewards account and a free World of Hyatt account.
