Barclays Spending Bonus

Barclays has sent out new spending offers for the next three months to some cardholders. These offers are targeted, and often vary from one account to the other. The offer that I received is for the JetBlue Business card. There’s an opportunity for an extra 5,000 points over the next three months. 

Offer

• Spend $2,000 or more each month during November, December and January and earn 1,000 bonus points for each month.
• Meet the spending goal in all three months and receive an additional 2,000 points.

This offer is showing up for JetBlue Business, American Airlines Aviator Business, Wyndham Business and Hawaiian Business cards.

Guru’s Wrap-up

If you are targeted for the same offer, you can earn additional 5,000 points after spending a total of $6,000 over the next three months. It’s not the best spending bonus that we have seen. It works out to a maximum of an an extra 0.83X on top of what card already earns.
