Austrian Airlines Suspends Operations Until March 28th

Austrian Airlines will suspend all flights between March 19 and March 28 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Austrian Airlines is a member of the Star Alliance and Lufthansa Group. Lufthansa on the other hand will reduce capacity another 20% and has been concentrating bringing thousands of Germans home from cruises and holidays.

Flight OS066 from Chicago to Vienna on March 19 at 8.20AM will be the last flight operating until March 28. This suspension is just 10 days long for now, but it is possible that it could be further extended. During this time, Austrian Airlines  will rebook passengers on other airlines if possible.
