Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have or have had this product. That also includes the old Amex Surpass card. Amex will also consider how many cards you have opened and closed as well as other factors in making a decision on your welcome offer eligibility. Currently you can get a 150K points bonus, so it depends on you which one is the better offer. I think the best course of action is to self refer, or use a family members referral. Some people are also being targeted for an Amex Ascend upgrade offer of 150K which saves you a hard pull.
