Original article (Aug. 9, 2020) – On the Resy website, there is a new welcome offer for the American Express Gold card. This new offer has the usual public bonus or 35K Membership Rewards bonus, but also a 20% credit on restaurant purchases for the first year, up to $250. There’s also a similar offer for the Amex Platinum Card. Check out the details of the offers below.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This new offer adds an additional $250 in credits if you can maximize it by spending $1,250 at restaurants during the first year of card membership. However, you can often do better than the 35K bonus. We often see 50K offers, and if you get that through referrals, it gets much better with the added referral bonus.
