Amex and Brighton To Open The American Express 1901 Pub on July 28
American Express, a longtime partner of Brighton & Hove Albion FC, are welcoming the Seagulls to the States for the first time ever in advance of their match against Newcastle on Friday, July 28. The company will open The American Express 1901 Pub at the Oculus Beer Garden.
Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. are a professional soccer club currently playing in the Premier League, the top division of English soccer. Brighton are currently enjoying their most successful run in club history, especially after finishing sixth in the 2022-23 Premier League season and qualifying for European competition for the first time ever ahead of the 2023-24 season. The club was founded in 1901 and is also known as the “Seagulls” or “the Albion.”
From 3:00-7:00 pm on 7/28, soccer fans and Card Members will get a taste of the authentic English matchday experience at the Amex 1901 Pub. Located at the Oculus Beer Garden near the World Trade Center, the Amex 1901 Pub will feature:
