Amazon has a promotion for Chase cardholders that can get you a 40% discount on your next purchase. As usual, this is a targeted promotion that requires you to use Chase Ultimate Rewards points. You need to use a minimum of 100 points for your purchase, so you can get the discount at checkout. Let’s see the details of the offer below.

Get 50% off eligible purchases when using Ultimate Rewards this holiday season. Max discount $60, with 100 point minimum spend. Here’s how it works:

This offer normally varies from one account to the other. But my account shows a discount of 40%, up to $20 in savings. That means that you can maximize this offer with a $50 purchase. The discount should also work on third party gift cards.
Using Chase Ultimate Rewards for Amazon purchases is normally not a good idea, but you can use just 100 points (worth about $1), and that will be enough to get the discount.
