Amazon has a new promotion that launched today. You can save $20 or $40 on your next purchase of items sold by Amazon. You need to use Membership Rewards points to take advantage of this Amazon Amex Points Promo. Even some people that were targeted for the promotion that ended yesterday, are being targeted for this one. So definitely worth a quick check. The discount should work for third party gift cards sold on Amazon as well.

There are two separate offers. Check if you have one or the other. Not everyone will be eligible.

Get $20 off when you use Membership Rewards points and make a minimum purchase of $50.
Get $40 off when you use Membership Rewards points and make a minimum purchase of $100.

Just make sure you activate the promotion first and use one Membership Rewards point. Using points on Amazon is not a good idea, as you get terrible value.
