Capital One Cards Now Earn 5X on UberEATS Orders
With changing spending habits in recent months due to the pandemic, credit card issuers have made adjustments to benefits. Restrictions put in place in many states have shifted spending for cardholders and have also made useless many travel perks on premium cards. Now Capital One is adding a temporary benefit for cardholders for a category that has seen a huge increase in spending recently.
Capital One Venture, VentureOne, Savor, and SavorOne cardholders will now earn 5% cashback or 5X points for UberEATS purchases. The increased earning rate starts tomorrow, July 14, 2020, and runs through Jan. 31, 2021. No enrollment is required for this new benefits and there is no limit on the amount of points or cashback that you can earn.
To start taking advantage of this benefit, just add your eligible Capital One credit card in the UberEATS app and use it for your purchases. Keep in mind that payments made through PayPal and other mobile wallets will not earn rewards.
