US Bank has released a new card called the Business Leverage Visa Signature Credit Card. The card offers 3X earning on two categories of choice for the first year, but there’s not much else besides that.

This card doesn’t have a signup bonus.
Earning and Redeeming Points
Here’s how the earning rates look on the card:
- Earn 2X points per dollar spent on eligible net purchases made in the top two categories where you spend the most each month – automatically.
- Earn 1X point per dollar spent on all other eligible net purchases.
- Earn an extra bonus point for every dollar spent in the first 365 days, up to 100,000. (Each employ card gets 1X extra point also, up to 100K)
Points are worth 1 cent each.
- Flexible redemption— Redeem points for your choice of cash back, travel, gift cards and merchandise
Annual Fee
No annual fee for the first year, $95 thereafter.
Free employee cards.
Applying for the Card
US Bank does NOT report business credit cards to personal credit bureaus, so that should help those trying to stay under 5/24.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
A decent card for the first year, but the lack of a signup bonus makes it hard to justify a hard pull. After that, it makes no sense at all to keep the card. You have to pay a $95 fee for really no perks at all, and 2X earning that you can get with several no fee cards.
