HarborOne bank is offering a $1,000 bonus for new business checking accounts. This offer is available in MA, NH, and RI only and requires a balance of $15,000 for about two months if timed right. Let’s check out the details.

How to Earn This Bonus

To receive the additional $1,000 Business Checking bonus:

1. Business owner/signer on the new Business Checking account must register for the bonus within 30 days of account opening at harborone.com/businessbonus;
2. Open and fund new Business Checking Account
3. Must maintain at least a $15,000 average daily balance in your new Business Checking account, starting 30 days after account opening through 12/31/25. You will have the first 30 days to bring the balance to $15,000.
   • New money to HarborOne must be used to open the account and maintain the average daily balance requirement in accordance with the minimum opening balance requirement and the average daily balance requirement,
   • HarborOne loan proceeds and transfers from an existing HarborOne account are not considered “new money” and are not eligible for either the minimum opening balance requirement or the average daily balance requirement,

This looks like a pretty good bonus. However it is available only in MA, NH, and RI and you need to open the account in person at a local branch, or maybe via phone.

In order to earn the $1,000 bonus, you need to open a new business checking account and keep a balance of $15,000 through the end of the year. The terms note that you have 30 days to reach the $15K balance, so it makes sense to open the account closer to the offer end date of September 30. That means that you need to keep the $15K balance in  the account or just over two months.
