Ride sharing app Via has a limited time promotion with an increased signup bonus of $15. The usual bonus is $10, so this is slightly better. Here’s how it works. Via is currently available only in NYC, Chicago and Washington. Rides start at just $5, $3.95 and $2.95 respectively in each city. From me experience, they usually have cheaper prices than Uber or Lyft, at least in NYC. And they often have promotions for even cheaper rides. Right now for example they have nights and weekend rides from Brooklyn to downtown Manhattan for a flat price of $8.
