US Bank is offering a bonus of $500 for new business checking accounts. You can open the account online, but you need to be in US Bank’s footprint to do so. If you’re in a state with no US Bank branches you could still apply if you have an existing relationship with the bank. This $500 bonus for the US Bank Business Triple Cash card could be a good way to start a relationship.

Open a new U.S. Bank Silver, Gold, Gold with Interest or Platinum Business Checking account with the promo code Q1BUS23.
Make new money deposit(s) of at least $3,000 (Direct, Mobile Check Deposit, ACH or Wires) and then maintain a balance of at least $3,000 through 60 days after account opening.
Enroll in the U.S. Bank Mobile App or U.S. Bank Online Banking within 60 days of account opening.

Offer Terms

The bonus will be deposited into your new U.S. Bank Gold Business Checking account within 45 days of settlement verification, as long as the account is open and has a positive balance.
Bonus will be reported as interest earned on IRS Form 1099-INT and recipient is responsible for any applicable taxes.

Eligibility

Offer is available almost nationwide, but only in states that have US Bank branches. If you don’t have a branch in your state, you could still be eligible to open an account if you have an existing relationship.

This is a very good bonus that many readers should be eligible for. The requirements are relatively easy and the US Bank Silver Business Checking account has no fees. The bonus is now increased to $500 (up from $400) and the requirements are easier.

However the terms are not very clear on the deposit requirement. You need to maintain a balance of at least $3,000 through 60 days after account opening. But there’s no specification on when you need to make that deposit. Previously it was 30 days. I guess it’s best to fund as soon as possible to make sure you get the bonus. You also need to enroll in online banking to get the bonus.
