United Club Lite Lounge Coming to Denver Airport
United Airlines will soon debut a new club lounge concept at Denver International Airport (DEN).This is being called a “United Club Lite” lounge for now, but it’s not clear if it will be the official name once it opens. The new lounge will be located at the ‘B East’ concourse addition there, between gates B61 and B63. The information comes from the airline’s contract with the City and County of Denver.
“United Club Lite” is a complete new concept that doesn’t look much like the usual airport lounges we’re all used to. It will focus mainly on grab and go items and will have very limited seating. The information was first shared by JonNYC on Twitter.
The lounge will span just 1,563 square feet. It will feature limited seating options, a customer service counter and a self-serve drinks counter. There will be no bar, buffet, meeting spaces or even restrooms. You can see the plans below on page 146 on the pdf linked here.
The new “United Club Lite” will be the third lounge option from the airline in Denver, where currently the airlines currently operates two more lounges.
