TravelBank is now offering New Distribution Capability (NDC) booking features with American Airlines through the TravelBank platform. Located in Mascot, a convenient suburb in the Inner-South of Sydney, the new 301-bedroom hotel is 10 minutes from Sydney International Airport via Moxy’s pink airport shuttle bus, which greets guests as they arrive. The hotel is easily accessible from Sydney’s bustling CBD and iconic sites, while the local neighborhood offers an exciting mix of great shopping and delicious dining right on the hotel’s doorstep.
While the airline has so far only shared plans about these two lounges, there’s some great news: A third is in the works for Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). “We have a new location in Boston in the plans. We’re working through all the logistics right now,” Claude Roussel, Delta’s managing director for Sky Clubs, told TPG in an interview.
Delta is also gearing up to announce another round of tightened access policies. “We continue to work with our partners and continue looking at this issue. It’s not a done issue. We have to continue making progress. Our guests are telling us that. They’re telling us, listen, we love the clubs. You need to fix the crowding,” Roussel said.
AC Hotels by Marriott today announced its brand debut in Croatia with the opening of AC Hotel by Marriott Split. Housed on the high floors of the 135-metre-high Westgate Tower with spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea and Split’s unique cityscape, the new hotel is set to offer The Perfectly Precise Hotel™ experience.
Curious travelers can peek through a glass door to view part of a 1700-year-old Roman aqueduct running throughout the property location. Flexible and open communal spaces are designed to provide maximum comfort and function, making them perfect for business meetings and socializing. The hotel’s AC Lounge features locally sourced art by prominent Croatian artist Vatroslav Kuliš, a collection of books, as well as architecture and fashion albums, to evoke the feeling of a well-curated gallery.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the decision to cease operations. After careful consideration and evaluation, we have come to the difficult conclusion that we must close our doors. The last day of operations for Red Way will be August 31st, 2023.”
