Select T-Mobile Postpaid Customers, Get One Free BYOD Line

T-Mobile is once again offering one new Free Postpaid Line (Bring Your Own Device) to randomly selected qualifying T-Mobile postpaid customers. It’s not clear how the customers are targeted, but you need to have at least two or more existing lines on an eligible T-Mobile postpaid plan. A one-time $35 Device Connection Charge (DCC) will apply upon activation. But some people are able to have this fee waived as well. T

To waive the fee, you can ask the phone rep if they can do this. If not, then you need to do a Self-Service add a device or line BYOD esim option under My Account on your own, after confirming you are eligible.

Simple Choice Plans
Magenta Max
Magenta Plus
Amp
T-Mobile One

To check for eligibility, a customer service rep has to bring up your account, go to your account profile menu, and look for applicable promos. If your account is eligible, they will see HolidayUnwrapped promo for a free line memo under that menu. Look like there’s no way to check yourself if you are eligible.
