Southwest Offers 30% Discount on Flights Between California and Hawaii

Southwest Airlines wants to help customer enjoy the warmth and amazing beaches of Hawaii with a 30% discount on flights from California.

The sale, which must be booked by 11:59 p.m. PT on March 23, is valid on select flights from California to and from Hawaii. To take advantage, customer must book a trip from April 11 through May 24, 2023.

To book, travelers need to go to the Southwest website and use the code “HAWAIIONLY.” The sale works for Wanna Get Away and Wanna Get Away Plus fares. While selecting your flights, savings in the base fare will be visible as a strike-through of the original fare on eligible flights.

Southwest allows two checked bags for free on each flight and doesn’t charge change or cancellation fees. Last year, the airline also eliminated expiration dates on flight credits, started allowing customers to purchase a boarding upgrade online ahead of their flight, and introduced a new fare class, the Wanna Get Away Plus fare, which allows passengers to transfer eligible unused flight credits to someone for future use.
