There’s a new targeted Amex Offer that can save you money or earn you some points when you shop at participating small businesses. Offer valid only “at business on the Shop Small Map, available at www.americanexpress.com/shopsmallmap, or the Online Directory, available at http://www.americanexpress.com/sh…fferonline.

Here’s three offers that I’ve seen so far:

• Get 1,000 additional Membership Rewards Points by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $20+ in one or more transactions at any business on the Shop Small Map (or Online Directory) by 10/31/17.
• Get a one-time $5 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $20+ in one or more transactions at any business on the Shop Small Map (or Online Directory) by 10/31/17.
• Get 1,000 additional Hilton Honors Points Bonus by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $20+ in one or more transactions at any business on the Shop Small Map (or Online Directory) by 10/31/17.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This is a nice offer but it is highly targeted. You can get a $5 discount on a $20 purchase or earn points, on top of the regular points that you receive from your card. You can also split transactions if you have the offer in more than one card.
