SAS Reveals New Copenhagen Airport Lounge
SAS has shared new details about its upcoming lounge at Copenhagen Airport, which is scheduled to open in June 2027.
The new lounge will be located on the fourth floor of Terminal 3 and will span about 3,700 square meters or about 40,000 square feet. SAS says that is roughly 40% more space than its current lounge, with capacity for up to 4,000 visitors per day.
The lounge will have 1,095 seats and several different zones for eating, working, relaxing, families and sleeping. There will also be 24 private work pods, expanded shower and restroom facilities, private hotel rooms and panoramic runway views.
One of the main additions is a new Exclusive Zone for SAS’ top-tier frequent flyers. SAS has not yet published detailed access rules for that area, but says it will offer a more private space within the larger lounge.
Food and beverage options will include a dedicated bar, barista coffee and a bakery with fresh pastries and snacks. SAS says the food selection will combine Scandinavian and international influences and change throughout the day.
The lounge will also use digital occupancy monitoring to help manage crowding, and SAS plans to reuse some furniture and textiles from the current Copenhagen lounge.
