Rakuten Adds Citi Strata Premier Card: Get $100 Cash Back
Rakuten has added the Citi Strata Premier card to it’s list of credit card offers. You can now earn $100 Cash Back when you apply and are approved for the Citi Strata Premier® Card through the shopping portal.
According to the offer terms, the Cash Back is provided by Rakuten. So this is in addition to the welcome bonus that you get from Citi.
To qualify, you must click through Rakuten’s offer page, complete the application in the same browser session, be a new approved Citi Strata Premier cardholder, and keep the account open for at least 3 months after approval. Only one cash back bonus is allowed per Rakuten account.

Guru’s Wrap-up
This is a nice extra incentive if you’re already planning to apply for the Citi Strata Premier Card. Since the $100 comes from Rakuten, it stacks on top of Citi’s welcome bonus as long as you meet Rakuten’s eligibility requirements. If you’re earning Bilt points, then you get a 10K bonus instead of cash back.
With that said, the current bonus on the card is only 60,000 points, so the timing is not great. The card comes with a $95 annual fee.
Rakuten is also offering a $90 bonus for the Chase Freedom Unlimited card, as well as $200/$275 bonuses for two Bank of America cards.
