Primera Air is expanding in the United States. They will soon be offering more options for travel to Europe. Starting next year they will have three more direct flight options to three new cities, Berlin, Frankfurt and Madrid. You’ll be able to catch flights to these cities from New York (EWR), Boston (BOS), Toronto (YYZ), and Montreal (YUL).
Flights to each of the new cities will start at $149 for a one-way ticket out of New York and Boston. Tickets from Toronto and Montreal will start at 199 Canadian dollars. The routes begin regular service at various times between May and August of 2019, and tickets are available now.
They’re already offering direct flights to Brussels ($149), London ($99), and Paris ($99).
Guru’s Wrap-Up
Primera Air is a budget airline so you should expect fees for many things that you would get for free from conventional airlines. Each Primera Air passenger is entitled for 1 carry-on bag plus 1 small personal item. You need to pay $44.99 or pay for an upgrade if you want to check in luggage. Seat selection will cost at least $39.99 and meals start at $69.99 for transatlantic flights. There’s also a $12 booking fee unless you use a bank account.
If you can avoid these extra fees, the you should be able to find some good travle deals to Europe.
