Keep in mind that Plastiq payments made with a credit card will cost you a 2.85% fee. If you consider the $20 gift card at full value, then it would be a 1% discount on that fee if you make a $2,000 payment exactly.

This promotion is only available to direct recipients of this email notifying them of their eligibility and the offer is non-transferable. Promo name: Karate.
In order to qualify, customers must open the email prior to making an eligible payment.
Payments must be processed with the full Plastiq fee to qualify.
Customers must make total payments of $2,000 USD (excluding the Plastiq fee, wire transfer, cross-border, expedited delivery, or other fees) to qualify for the $20 USD gift card promotion. Rewards are not prorated.
Limit of one gift card per eligible account.
Eligible customers can submit immediate payments or schedule payments to be processed from 12:01 AM ET on September 29, 2021, and before 11:59 PM ET on September 30, 2021.
Rejected, returned, canceled payments will forfeit the promotion bonus for those payments.
