Pinnacle Bank is offering a $100 bonus valid for Diamond Secure Account applicants only. The previously expired offer has been extended till the end of December. The offer is for Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Wyoming and Colorado only.
Offer Requirements
$100 offer valid for Diamond Secure Account applicants only. This is an easy bonus, with barely any requirements. You just need to do the following:
- Account must be opened online.
- The minimum amount to open an account is $100.
The maximum payment per customer is $100. The money will be deposited after 90 days of account opening. Account must be maintained in good standing with no overdrafts for the first 90 days. The $100 bonus will be reflected on a 1099-INT that will be issued and reported to the IRS at year-end.

Open to residents of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Wyoming and Colorado only.
This offer is for new checking account customers only. A new checking account customer eligible for the bonus is someone who has had no previous checking account relationship with Pinnacle Bank in the previous 48 calendar months.
Fees
Diamond Secure Account has a $4 service charge per statement cycle which cannot be waived. There’s also a $5 paper statement fee per statement cycle so make sure you sign up for electronic statements which are free of charge.
Cell Phone Protection
The account comes with an extra benefit. You get $300 to reimburse the cost of replacing or repairing your cell phone if it becomes stolen or damaged at home or abroad. The coverage requires a $50 deductible. But, you need to pay your cell phone bill from your eligible account in order to receive coverage.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
They used to have a better offer in the past, which was still for $100, but for a free account. This time around you have to pay $4 monthly and since you need to keep account open for at least three months, that will lower your bonus by at least $12. It’s also limited to only a few states (Iowa has been added), and you shouldn’t have had a relationship with the bank in the last two years to qualify.
On the plus side, there’s really no requirements for the bonus, besides opening the account online with a $100 opening deposit.
