Southwest Airlines CEO talks new planes for potential Europe flights
Southwest Airlines CEO Bob Jordan gave some of his strongest comments yet that the carrier plans to enter the long-haul international space in the coming years. Speaking on the sidelines of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s annual aerospace summit in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday he said, “everything is on the table” — lounges, a true premium product and, especially, long-haul international flights — for Southwest.

PNC To Acquire FirstBank
PNC has announced that it will acquire FirstBank in a cash & stock deal that is expected to close in early 2026 and values FirstBank at $4.1 billion. Currently FirstBank offers a $300 checking bonus for those in CA, AZ & CO. I’d recommend doing that bonus if you haven’t already as obviously it won’t be available for much longer (although they seem to be very ChexSystems sensitive).
