DEAL DEAD – Using PPBDC on Google Pay to get the 1%

Using PPBDC on Google Pay coded as SIGNATURE and thus earned 1%. Unfortunately, this seems to have died around mid May 2019. A good reminder to always test things out. You never what you might come across. Read more here.

Google Has Pinpointed The Perfect Spot For Selfies At Top U.K. Tourist Attractions

Once they know which sites people photographed the most and like the best, Google used the geographic location coordinates from the photos to figure out the exact spot for the best selfies. Read more here.

Marriott/China Eastern Partnership To End On May 26th, 2019

SPG used to have a partnership with China eastern, when Marriott took over SPG they also took over that partnership. This joint partnership will now earn on May 26th, 2019.  Read more here.

Southwest Airlines Expands Its Hawaii Plans

When Southwest Airlines announced its initial Hawaii flight schedule, it said service to Lihue on the island Kauai would begin at a later date. On May 11, the carrier revealed that it will also fly from Honolulu to Hilo, on Hawaii’s Big Island. Southwest is likely to serve that route four times a day, beginning sometime this fall. American Express is acquiring Resy

Resy launched back in 2014 as a platform that allowed users to buy reservations from restaurants in situations where they’d usually have to book months in advance. For restaurants, it allowed them to offload unused inventory. Read more here.

Amazon started building its $1.5 billion airport

Amazon agreed to a 50-year lease for more than 900 acres of property from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in 2017. This space is close to the size of the global hubs of top cargo airlines. Read more here.
