M&T Bank is offering a $150 bonus when you open a MyChoice Checking account. This offer expired in ealry April but it has now been extended. In order to receive the bonus you need to use promo code QE and make a direct deposit of at least $100 within 90 days of account opening by June 30th, 2015.
To open the account online, simply visit the M&T Bank website which now has a dedicated page for the offer. You’ll be prompted to enter your zip code first, and then select MyChoice Checking account type, and click “Open Now” to get started. Decline the checks and savings account.
You can avoid the monthly fee of $6.95 by keeping an average balance of $500 or more in the account. The $150 bonus will be deposited within 90 days (UPDATE: My $150 bonus deposited on the same day as the $100 DD from Capital One 360).
