Mint Mobile Adds More Data for New and Existing Customers

Mint Mobile today announced that it is increasing the amount of data in all its plans, while keeping the same prices. This is the third time since 2019 that Mint has added more data to its plans without a price hike, and it comes as T-Mobile is expected to acquire the company.

The data will increase beginning on April 14, 2023, for all new and existing subscribers. Existing subscribers will see the higher data amounts in their plans when their monthly data refreshes after 4/14. Subscribers to each of Mint’s flexible plans will benefit from 25-50% more data than previously offered, with no additional fees or strings attached. And the same goes for those new customers who sign up for a Mint Mobile plan, as anyone who joins on or after April 14 will receive these new data tiers.

Mint is delivering even more data at the same low price (based on 12-month structure):

  • $15 per month for 5 GB of 5G/4G LTE data (previously 4 GB),
  • $20 per month for 15 GB of 5G/4G LTE data (previously 10 GB),
  • $25 per month for 20 GB of 5G/4G LTE data (previously 15 GB), and
  • $30 per month for 40 GB of 5G/4G LTE data, with 10 GB for hotspot (previously 35 GB of 5G/4G LTE data, with 5 GB for hotspot).

With Mint’s buy in bulk and save approach, consumers buy in either 3-, 6- or 12-month increments and get the best pricing with 12-month plans. All Mint Mobile plans will continue to offer the same great features, including unlimited talk and text, free calling to Mexico and Canada, 5G for Free (with capable device), free mobile hotspot and Wi-Fi calling and text.
