JetBlue Offers Refund or Bonus Credit for Previous Schedule Changes or Cancellations
Back in April, when the coronavirus was quickly spreading around the country and halting travel, JetBue changed its refund policy for schedule changes from 2 to 24. That meant that if your flight schedule was changed by 23 hours, you wouldn’t get a refund. As the DoT clarified refund rules for airlines, JetBlue reverted back its policy change. DoT also said that airlines are allowed to offer vouchers, but they can only do so if the passenger accepts and they should make it clear that a full cash refund is also an option.
Now Dans Deals reports that JetBlue is reaching out to some customers who were given TravelBank funds instead of cash. Those who are affected by this, are given two options, either a full cash refund or a 20% bonus if funds are kept in the TravelBank.
