Hyatt Extending Elite Status and Free Night Certificates for Some

As concerns over the coronavirus to grow, the travel industry in one of the hardest hit sectors worldwide. People are flying and vacationing less and are weary of booking any travel for the near future. So airlines and hotels are taking steps to entice people to keep flying and staying and staying at their properties.

Many airlines have waived change and cancellation fees. Now Hyatt is offering some customers an extension of their elite status and free night certificates. This was already offered previously to people in China or those with upcoming stays there. But more people are getting this email, even outside that region. Doctor of Credit reports that some loyalty members have also had success asking for their free night certificates or status to be extended due to the coronavirus.
