Hyatt, 20% Rebate on Nearly All Redemptions Through July 31

Hyatt is offering a 20% rebate on points redemptions through July 31, 2015 for holders of their co-branded credit card. Cardmembers can register to receive a 20% rebate on award redemptions. At first it seemed like an offer for current card holders and only for new bookings, butthat’s not the case.

If you already booked your stay for those dates don’t worry. As long as your stay dates are within the promotional period you will earn the 20% point rebate. You won’t need to rebook!

Here’s how it works:

  • Register by March 31
  • Redeem any time by — and complete your stay by — July 31, 2015
  • The rebate will post 4-6 weeks after redemption.

If you don’t have a Hyatt card, you can apply now. They are offering two free nights and a $50 statement credit. Go to any Hyatt website, make a dummy booking, scroll down to “Credit Card Information” section. There you will see a banner advertisement for the 2 free night + $50 statement credit offer. You get the $50 after the first purchase and the two free nights after spending $1,000 within three months. You usually get the offer without completing the booking, even though the fine print says otherwise.
