Click Apply Online on the offer page (or open in branch), so that the promotion code is claimed at time of account opening. To qualify for the $400 cash bonus, you are required to open a new, qualifying Platinum Perks Checking account by June 7, 2024 and:

• have a qualifying direct deposit made to the account within 90 days of account opening and keep your account open for 90 days.

Earning $600 for a new checking account is a great offer. But you need to deposit $25K to get the maximum bonus. That’s also the amount that you need to have in the account to keep it fee-free. Huntington Bank also has a $400 bonus which is easier to do in my opinion, and there’s a $1,000 bonus for new business accounts.
