Hilton Aspire Annual Fee Going Up to $550/$650 Next Year
Update (Dec 17, 2022) – Another mention of a fee increase next year, this time from a phone rep. And this time the new fee is supposedly $650, instead of the previously rumored $550.
The Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card could see some changes next year. Before we get into the details, you should know that this is just a rumor. The information is supposedly coming from a very reliable source, a Hilton corporate employee.
If the rumor is true, then we should expect the Hilton Aspire annual fee to go up by $100 some time next year. The card currently has a $450 annual fee, so it would go up to $550. With the fee increase we should also expect some added benefits.
One idea being floated is giving the primary cardholder Centurion Lounge access. No fee additional guests. This would be a strange move from American Express, considering they’re cutting free guest access for Platinum cardholders to fight overcrowding.
The Hilton Aspire card already has some valuable benefits such as complimentary Hilton Honors Diamond status, annual Free Night Reward, complimentary Priority Pass™ Select membership, $250 Airline Fee Credit for incidental charges and $100 in credits for qualifying charges at participating Waldorf Astoria® Hotels & Resorts and Conrad® Hotels & Resorts.
This 150,000 points welcome bonus is still available on the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card. With this card, you can earn up to 14x points on eligible purchases at Hilton properties, 6x points at U.S. restaurants, U.S. supermarkets, and U.S. gas stations, and 3x points on all other eligible purchases. Plus this is a good time to apply, if you want to triple-dip airline credits.

I got this card 2-3 years back when they were giving out with no fee for a few days. It’s not worth $550 or $450 for me.
Sounds believable that fee night go up to $550. The current fee is in a wierd spot between platinum cards and golds. Centurion lounge access would be worth it for an extra $100. That makes it a keeper 100% with annual free night and airline credit and you don’t even need to get platinum cards.
From reading the Reddit post it’s a third-hand source.
