There’s a new Amex Offer for U.S. Hilton stays, giving American Express cardholders an easy way to save $40. As with most Amex Offers, this is targeted. But what’s interesting about this one, is that it is showing up for many Hilton Surpass and Hilton Aspire cardholders. Let’s look at the details.

Earn a one-time $40 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $200 in one or more qualifying purchases on room rate and room charges, when you pay for your stay at participating Hilton properties in the US and US territories from 4/15/2026 to 8/15/2026. - Offer valid only at participating Hilton properties in the US and US territories.
- Reservations must be made online at US website Hilton.com, through the Hilton Honors app or by calling 1-800-445.
- Offer does not apply to advance purchase rates, including Advance Purchase, Save Now & Pay and Non-refundable rates.
- Corporate Cards are not eligible for this offer.
- Excludes Hilton Grand Vacations Brand, AutoCamp, Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) Collection, and gift card purchases.
- Offer only valid on room rate and room charges. Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date.
- Purchases must be made in USD, and offer is only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant.

About Amex Offers
Amex Offers are an extra perk on all American Express credit cards, charge cards, and even prepaid cards. You can see these offers in your accounts either as a statement credit or extra Membership Rewards points for spending a certain amount at eligible merchants. You will need to add the offer to a specific card first, and then use that card to get the credit. Here are a few things you should know:- You should add the offer to your preferred card. Amex Offers are normally limited to just one per person. However, you can use tools like Savewise and CardPointers to add them to multiple cards.
- Check out a few options to quickly way to add all Amex Offers automatically. Just keep in mind that these tools only add all offers to one card and they will disappear from other cards.

We have seen better Hilton Amex Offers in the past but they rarely show up on Hilton credit cards. This one was in my Hilton Surpass credit card, which makes it even more valuable as you can also earn 12x points on Hilton purchases. Those who have it on their Hilton Aspire cards will earn 14x points on Hilton spending. Plus you can stack it with Hilton credits.
