Google Hotels Lets You Price Track Specific Properties

Finding a deal on your favorite hotel just got much easier. While Google has long allowed you to track price trends for your favorite destinations, they have now officially launched a feature that lets you track prices for individual hotels.

Whether you have a specific resort in mind for a vacation or a go-to hotel for a business trip, you can now monitor it and wait for the perfect price drop.

How to Start Tracking

The process is simple and works across both desktop and mobile:

  • Desktop: Search for a specific hotel by name on Google. Youโ€™ll see a new price tracking toggle right in the search results.
  • Mobile: Look up your hotel and head to the Prices tab to find the tracking option.
  • Via Google Hotels: You can also visit google.com/hotels, select a specific listing, and toggle on tracking from the Overview or Prices tab.

Guru’s Wrap-up

Once you start tracking pricing for a specific property, Google will send you an email alert if the rates for your chosen dates change significantly.

It’s worth noting that these alerts can be triggered not only by price drop on the hotel’s website, but also by third-party Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).

The feature is currently available globally for signed-in users in both English and Spanish. If you have a trip coming up, head over to Google Search now and toggle those alerts.
