McDonald has announced a one-day-only deal, offering a free McChicken sandwich (regular or spicy) to McDonald’s customers all day Wednesday, May 10th.

There’s a small catch. To get your free McChicken, you have to order using the McDonald’s app. But no purchase is necessary, so you can just order your free McChicken and nothing else. The deal is valid for new and existing app users at participating McDonald’s locations.

To find this offer, jut open the McDonald’s app and tap Rewards & Deals at the bottom. In the Deals section you will see “FREE McChicken, no purchase necessary”.
