Ebates offers cashback for shopping online but also in-store. Online you just need to go through their site first and then you will earn cashback at eligible merchants. To earn cash back n-store, you need to link a card first and then add an offer to that card and use it to make a purchase. One of the merchants eligible for in-store cash back in Office Depot and OfficeMax. You will earn 3% on your purchases made at any of their locations.
Previously this offer was unlimited, but now Ebates has changed the terms. Maximum cash back per qualifying transaction is capped at $5.00. That means that you will only earn 3% on up to $167 per transaction.

Guru’s Wrap-Up
This change in terms has probably something to do with multiple gift card offers at Office Depot and OfficeMax recently. Gift card purchases are excluded from earning cash back in the terms, but sometimes they do work. That’s a great added bonus if it does. Even with a $5 cap it is still worth testing it out.
Ebates also offer in-store cash back at Bed Bath and Beyond. You can earn 2% cash back on your purchases there, and for now is not capped.
Keep in mind that when using these offers, you need to link your card first and activate the offer. You then need to add the offers again after each use.
