Discover is sending some cardholders emails with an offer to earn a $40 bonus just for setting up automatic payments. Discover is probably targeting those who have not set up automatic payments yet. Here’s what the offer looks like:

• Enroll in automatic payments by 7/15/21, make at least your minimum payment due for 2 consecutive months and your one-time $40 statement credit with be applied within 2-3 billing cycles.
