Update: Delta said their computer systems have returned to normal Tuesday following an outage that lasted about two hours and forced domestic flights to be grounded. Delays were first noticed around 6:45PM and the issue was finally resolved around 9PM. Delays are expected to extend through the night and probably tomorrow morning.
Delta Air Lines said Tuesday evening that it has issued a ground stop due to a technology issue.
“We have issued a Delta groundstop as we work to bring systems back up as quickly as possible,” the airline said in a statement.
The ground stop applies to all domestic U.S. flights, but international flights are not affected as of now.
Obviously is safety over everything, but this could be a major headache if it lasts long.
Any readers affected? Let me know.
