[Expired] Commerce Bank, $300 Checking And Money Market Bonus (Select States)

Commerce Bank has a $300 bonus available in a few states. Get $200 for opening a new CommerceRelationship Checking account and an additional $100 for opening a new Money Market account. Offer could be targeted.

Bonus Requirements

To receive the $150 and $50 incentives, you must have:

At least two direct deposits of any combination of a paycheck, pension payment, Social Security payment, or other government benefits payment of $300 or more each electronically deposited into the checking account from an employer or outside agency within 90 days of opening.
10 purchases with your debit card within the first 90 days of the account opening will also earn the incentives.

Both incentives will be reported as interest to the IRS. Maximum total incentive $200. Minimum balance of $100 in Personal Savings Account required to obtain bonus and annual percentage yield (APY).

You can also get an additional $100 for also adding a new Money Market account, for a total incentive of $300.

Eligibility

Offer is available in MO, KS, IL, OK, CO.

Both incentives are limited to new customers who haven’t owned an account in the past 90 days and are limited to one per household. You must have your offer code at the time of account opening to qualify for the incentive. We reserve the right to restrict or change this offer at any time.

Fees

CommerceRelationship Checking has a $20 fee that can be waived with a $5,000 average daily balance or $15,000 in combined balances at Commerce Bank.

myRewards Money Market has a monthly fee of $6 that can be waived with just ONE of the following:

$500 daily balance
$1,000 average daily balance for the monthly cycle each month
at least one monthly electronic deposit, including Online Banking transfers, of $25 or more

A good bonus, but limited to only a few states. On top of that it seems that a unique promo code might be required to get the bonus. If that’s the case, then you would need to have received some kind of mail from the bank. The bonus now requires two direct deposits, which wasn’t the case last time around.
