I received an offer by mail to apply for the Citizens Bank Cash Back Plus card. The card can earn up to 1.8% cash back on almost all purchases but it doesn’t have a sign up bonus. You have to live close to a branch though, otherwise you will just receive a maximum of 1.65% cash back. The offer is publicly available online.
You’ll earn 1.5% cash back on purchases. Then you can earn a 10% Purchase Bonus when you make at least 1 purchase each month for 6 consecutive months. So in the 7th month, you’ll earn a 10% bonus on all the cash you’ve earned that far and then continue to earn the extra 10% monthly. Then you can earn another 10% by depositing your rewards at Citizens Bank.
There’s no annual fee. No limit on cash back. No foreign transactions fees.
There’s better cards out there though such as the Citi Double Cash that will earn you 2%.
