Citi is sending some people an offer by mail for the Citi ThankYou Premier credit card. The offer has a bonus of 50,000 ThankYou Points, the same as the public offer. What’s interesting about these mailers is that they do not have the 24 month restrictions. The offers come with a non-transferable unique code which you need to enter online. Offer Requirements
Earn 50,000 bonus points after making $4,000 in purchases with your card within the first 3 months of account opening.
Annual Fee $95 (Waived for the first 12 months)
The bonus is equal to $500 in cash or $625 when redeemed for airfare through the ThankYou Travel Center. You can usually do better than that through travel partners.
Guru’s Wrap-Up
With 3X on travel and 2X on dining it earns at a good rate and the bonus is worth over $600 for most people. If you are targeted then you have another chance at getting the bonus even if you have opened or closed a TYP card in the past 24 months.
