New 30K Bonus for Citi Rewards+ Card, In-Branch Only
Citi released a new no-fee card called Citi Rewards+ back in early January of this year. The card offers a simple version of Citi’s ThankYou rewards program, but with some interesting features. One of those features is 10% points back for the first 100,000 points you redeem per year. So a maximum of 10,000 ThankYou points every year. Now they are also offering double the usual bonus, in-branch only. This Citi Rewards+ 30K bonus will be available through the end of the year.

For a limited time, customers can earn 30,000 bonus points after spending $1,500 within the first 3 months of account opening in addition to a 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 15 months. In addition, Citigold customers can earn 40,000 bonus after spending $2,000 within the first 3 months of account opening in addition to a 0% intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 15 months.
Card Benefits
Citi Rewards+ Card is the only card that rounds up to the nearest 10 ThankYou Points on every purchase and provides cardmembers with 10% points back for the first 100,000 points redeemed per year.
The card also offers 2 ThankYou Points for every $1 spent at supermarkets and gas stations for the first $6,000 per year and then 1 point per $1 spent thereafter as well as 1 ThankYou Point for every $1 spent on all other purchases.
No annual fee.
Guru’s Wrap-up
Citi Rewards+ is an interesting card to have with the 10% rebate on redeemed points. Until now it was probably not worth signing up for it directly. But with with this new Citi Rewards+ 30K bonus, or even 40K if you have a Citigold account, it certainly becomes an option. The offer is available in branch only.

I was thinking I would, but the yelp reviews for my local branch are ghastly, which makes me hesitate.
