Citi Prestige is once again available for applications and it also has a 50K ThankYou points bonus currently. One of the perks mentioned for the card is Cell phone protection, which is coming May 1, 2019. But we now have some additional information as Citi outlines some of the details of the cell phone protection benefit with the Citi Prestige card.

Starting in May, Citi Prestige cardmembers can look forward to cell phone protection of up to $1,000 per claim, up to $1,500 per year, for damage or theft of up to five eligible cell phones when the monthly cell phone bill is paid with the Prestige card. Any claim made under the protection benefit will require a $50 deductible per phone, and cardmembers will be able to easily file claims online.
