Citi Double Cash, Redeem ThankYou Points for 15% Discount on Select Gift Cards
Citi has launched today the first ThankYou Rewards offer just for Citi Double Cash cardmembers. If you have the card, then you can redeem points for gift cards from Wayfair®, Sephora® and Grubhub for 15% fewer points through the Citi ThankYou Gift Card catalog.
Between April 14-19, 2022, Double Cash cardmembers can redeem for the below gift cards (or those of higher denominations):
- $10 gift card at Sephora for 850 Points (versus 1,000 Points)
- $25 gift card at Grubhub for 2,125 Points (versus 2,500 Points)
- $25 gift card at Wayfair for 2,125 Points (versus 2,500 Points)
This marks the first redemption offer for Double Cash cardmembers since they started earning 1% cash back when they buy and 1% when they pay for their purchases in the form of ThankYou Points on March 28th. As always, Citi Double Cash cardmembers can redeem points for cash back – via direct deposit, statement credit or check – at the same redemption value (for example, 1,000 ThankYou Points = $10 in cash rewards). These gift cards give you some extra value for your points, but keep in mind that you can often find similar discounts elsewhere.
Cardmembers can also now seamlessly redeem their ThankYou Points for a wide range of redemption options through ThankYou Rewards, including Shop with Points, gift cards, and especially travel, where you can get more value with transfer partners. Over the last year, ThankYou Rewards has also grown to include more than 50,000 hotels and vacation rentals through Wyndham Rewards and Choice Privileges.
