Shell often has different promotions through their Fuel Rewards program that can save you money on gas. They partner with supermarkets and give you discounts based on your spending.

They have also added a partnership with Chase now. If you have any of their Freedom or Sapphire cards, you can save an extra 5¢ per gallon on all your fill ups at Shell through the end of the year. Those cards actually give you Gold Status, which then gives you the discount.

How it Works

1. If you haven’t already, join the Fuel Rewards program or activate this offer if you’re already a member to get extended Gold Status.
2. Fill up at a participating Shell station using a linked credit or debit card or your Alt ID.
   • You’ll save at least 5¢/gal with Gold Status.
   • Your 5¢/gal reward for Gold Status will stack with any other rewards in your Fuel Rewards account.
   • Savings are applied to up to 20 gallons.

Offer Terms

• To qualify for the extended Gold Status offer for Chase® customers, you must (i) be a Chase customer, (ii) be invited by Chase to participate in this promotion, (iii) be a Fuel Rewards® member, and (iv) register either as a new Fuel Rewards® member or log in with your existing Fuel Rewards® member information using the link in your invitation email from Chase between 11/26/2018 and 6/30/2019.
• With extended Gold Status, you will receive 5¢/gal in Fuel Rewards® savings on every fill-up at participating Shell stations through 12/31/2019
• To save with your extended Gold Status when you fuel at participating Shell stations, swipe your Fuel Rewards® card or a Link & Save™ enabled payment card, enter your Alt ID, or pay for fuel using a mobile payment app associated with your Fuel Rewards® account.
• You will retain your extended Gold Status during the Qualification Period, but you must make six (6) qualifying fuel purchases during the Qualification Period to maintain Gold Status for the next three (3) months following the Qualification Period (a “Benefit Period”) and each Benefit Period thereafter.
• A qualifying fuel purchase is any fuel purchase at a participating Shell station in which you swipe your Fuel Rewards® card or single swipe enabled payment card or enter your Alt ID and fill up with at least five (5) gallons of any grade of fuel.
• This offer is only available to Chase customers who did not participate in a similar Fuel Rewards® offer in 2018.
